More To Skateboard Decks Than I Thought..

I was shopping around and doing some research for Skateboard Decks and was only really looking for a brand I liked, a dope design, and a good price of course!

 I found out some cool things while I was shopping around that I’ll share with you guys. Blind and Darkstar Skateboard Decks make 9 ply boards (layers). This deck tends to be thicker and heavier. If you look closely at the Blind Skateboard Decks they tend to have rounder edges than most decks.

 Element makes some decks out of fiberlite. This is basically made by adding one long fiberglass strip inside down the length of the board. This is why the Element Skateboard Decks are lighter than most!
